Religious Services

Our home is fortunate to have a large group of clergy and lay people to minister to the
residents. This is done with personal visits, church services, and Bible Studies.

Every Thursday morning at 10:00, Sparta's St. Patrick's Church conducts Catholic
services with Communion. Members from Monroe County Catholic Churches volunteer
to assist the residents to and from these services.

On the fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:30, Sparta's St. John's Lutheran Church
conducts a service with Communion. Members of the church assist with bringing the residents to and from
the service. After the service, the members host a fellowship time with coffee and cookies
for the residents and visitors.

Every Sunday afternoon at 2:00, area ministers and lay people conduct Ecumenical
services for the residents and their guests. The Activity Director works with the ministers
to set up this schedule.

Every month a memorial service is held in memory of loved ones who passed away.
Rolling Hills is blessed with caring pastors who help to lead these special services.
During the service, the names of the deceased are read and families
and friends share a special memory. In addition to the scripture and music, the minister
shares words of comfort and inspiration. Fellowship is enjoyed after the service.

All of the above services are held in the Chapel on the ground floor. The Chapel is complete
with an altar, pulpit, organ, electric piano, and lovely decorations. The Chapel has a sound
system that makes it easier for all to hear plus large print songbooks.

A volunteer conducts a Bible Study on Monday afternoons at 3:45 in our dining room.
It is an ecumenical Bible study and is open to all of the residents to attend.
A speaker system is used to assure that all are able to hear to participate.
